Ghazaleh is a former adjunct clinical professor of the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she taught a course in the school’s Employment Law Clinic. She has litigated cases involving employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, disability and other leave-related claims, wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA claims, unfair business practices, whistleblower claims, and wrongful discharge. Ghazaleh has defended employers in state and federal courts, arbitration, and before administrative agencies. Prior to joining Burke, Ghazaleh worked at two well-respected Silicon Valley law firms, including an AmLaw 100 firm, where she exclusively represented businesses and management in all facets of California labor and employment law. Ghazaleh provides practical advice and counsel on wage-and-hour issues, leaves of absence, accommodation of disabilities, preparation and implementation of employment policies, advice on employee hiring, discipline and separations, and managing and/or conducting workplace investigations and trainings. She works closely with her clients to develop appropriate strategies to avoid litigation and minimize potential exposure in the area of employee relations and helps clients identify and avoid employment-related problems before they occur. Omeed earned his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law in 2019. Additionally, he completed an internship for the San Francisco County Superior Court in which he assisted self-represented civil litigants. While in law school, he served as a law clerk in a specialized unit of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office where he supported seasoned prosecutors with gang-related homicide trials. Immediately prior to joining Burke, Omeed practiced as an Associate at a Silicon Valley based law firm where he litigated commercial disputes in state and federal venues on behalf of corporate clients across different industries. He began his legal career at an established San Francisco firm where he practiced as an Associate defending major California public entities and municipalities in various civil litigation matters involving employment law, constitutional law, and real property issues. Omeed joined Burke in March 2023 as an Associate in the firm's Real Estate and Business and Litigation practice group.
